Fishing Vessels

 Home / Access /

Fishing vessels should contact New Plymouth Harbour by radio or by phone two hours prior to entering the port. Details to be passed include vessel name, port of registration, the reason for visiting and the estimated length of stay in port.

Once secure alongside, hand a copy of the names of all crew on board to the watch house.

When leaving the vessel, carry a photo ID (like a driver license) for identification at the gate. Photo IDs are a requirement of the ISPS Code.
